SARETI receives funding from the Fogarty International Center (FIC) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland, United States of America Grant Number 5 R25 TW01599-16.

A limited number of fully funded scholarships are available annually on a competitive basis for the degree programme. Applicants for the scholarships must be serving members of Africa-based Research Ethics Committees or have substantial experience in health research and ethical review and must meet other selection criteria. Interested candidates with external or private funding are also welcome to apply.
